Longfield designed and built a raised cottage in the southern vernacular tradition in McClellanville, SC. Having spent time in this community, we wanted to ensure that the exterior style complimented the look and feel of the village's historic district and that this home would age well through the years. This was accomplished by using high quality materials and time honored construction techniques. The cottage boasts the finest amenities - wide porches, hardwood floors, spacious living spaces, ceiling fans, built-in bookshelves, and stone in the kitchen and baths - so that when the owners come in off the water, they can relax in style.
